  we have a machine with three GPU devices with CUDA capabilities
(2xTesla C1060 and 1xTesla C2050 / C2070 ). The latter is device 0.

  It turns that if I execute cudaSetDevice(1) or cudaSetDevice(2) then
the attached code that just adds a single event segfaults. This is the
backtrace from gdb:

(gdb) where
#0  0x00007fcc4f83b5fa in ?? () from /usr/lib/libcuda.so.1
#1  0x00007fcc51815595 in CUDA_init_control_state (ctrl=<value optimized
out>) at components/cuda/linux-cuda.c:460
#2  0x00007fcc51807af8 in _papi_hwi_assign_eventset (ESI=0x25c6280,
cidx=1) at papi_internal.c:354
#3  0x00007fcc5180905c in _papi_hwi_add_event (ESI=0x0,
EventCode=1140850754) at papi_internal.c:791
#4  0x0000000000400b26 in main (argc=1, argv=0x7fff642225c8) at test.cu:33

  Do you have any clues on how could I solve the issue? I'm using PAPI
from the CVS (downloaded yesterday) on a linux x86-64 machine.

Thank you.
